That’s in addition to now being able to claim for yoga and Pilates using your Healthy Lifestyle benefit, a change introduced in January this year. To claim for yoga or Pilates, you’ll need a to send us a Healthy Lifestyle Program form completed by your doctor to confirm it’s needed to treat, prevent or manage a health condition.

New and increased limits for Aids and Appliances

You’ll be able to claim for Pelvic Floor Support Devices that are commonly recommended for pelvic health management, postnatal recovery, and prevention of prolapse or incontinence. This includes devices such as:

  • Pelvic floor exercisers (e.g. Perifit, SensaTone)
  • Vaginal pessaries

The sub-limit for artificial ears, eyes, noses and limbs will increase from $1,000 to $1,200. That means you can claim up to $1,200 per device each calendar year (subject to your available limits).

Simpler claiming for Pharmaceuticals

Starting 1 April 2026, the $30 per person flu vaccine benefit will be something you claim under Pharmaceuticals, instead of your Healthy Lifestyle limit. How you claim for it won’t change, just which annual limit it falls under.

There will no longer be a sub-limit for erectile dysfunction medication from 1 April 2026. Right now, you can only claim up to $280 per year out of your total annual limit for this type of medication. See more about how much you can claim for medication
