Can I suspend my membership if I’m having financial issues?
Yes, suspension may be an option if:
- you (or your spouse) have been receiving Centrelink payments or have been on leave without pay for more than one month
- you’ve been a member with us for at least 12 months (and you aren’t in arrears)
- your membership has been active for at least 12 months between suspension periods for financial reasons
- your membership hasn’t been suspended for financial hardship for more than 36 months in the last five years.
