You’re not alone

Experiencing depression or anxiety (or both), can be isolating. We’re committed to helping eligible UniHealth members get the support they need through their journey*.

The first step begins with a quick phone call with one of our experienced health professionals. They’ll ask you a few questions to understand where you’re at, and if the program is likely to be beneficial (and safe) for you. They'll also confirm your eligibility for the program.

Wellbeing4Life

The Wellbeing4Life Program might be right for you if:

  • You've received a mental health diagnosis, and
  • You've had one or more overnight hospital admissions for mental health concerns in the previous 12 months, and
  • Community based care is an appropriate and safe alternative to care in hospital.

How it works

In collaboration with our specialist mental health services partner, Mind Australia, this program offers a comprehensive assessment and care plan from a mental health professional.

Treatment and support are delivered in different ways, depending on what best suits your situation, including: outreach (visits at home); clinic appointments; telehealth and group activities.

Accessing the program

To be eligible, you must:

  • Have a hospital product with the 2-month waiting period served and be paid up to date, and
  • Be 18 years or older, and
  • Have an ongoing relationship with a GP or Psychiatrist, and
  • Meet the clinical eligibility criteria which is discussed during your first phone call with us.

To learn more about the program, or start the process, get in touch via our contact form or email info@teachershealthcare.com.au.
